- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be a bona fide resident of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, or Walton County, Florida.
- Must be of good moral character and qualified scholastically and intellectually for the education desired.
- Recipient must have been accepted by, or be successfully pursuing training at, an accredited school in the appropriate field of study.
Loan amounts will be determined by the needs of the applicant (not to exceed $100,000 or $120,000 for those seeking medical degrees) and are interest free until graduation. Thereafter, favorable interest rates will apply, with the total of principal and interest to be repaid in not more than eleven years. The Trustees of the Foundation have made arrangements with the Office of the President of Pensacola State College to receive and interview applicants. Upon approval, loan funds are disbursed and administered by Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund, fiscal agent for the Trustees of the Foundation.
